Customer Service Team Member (part time)

We are looking to hire customer service team members to help with greeting customers, working the front counter, serving customers, packing orders for pickup and delivery, food handling, general cleaning of the restaurant, and other assigned tasks.

The candidate must have the following experiences:

• A professional with 1 to 3 years of restaurant experience, including customer service, order taking, table service, Point of Sale (POS) data entry, front and back of restaurant duties.

• Must possess or be willing to obtain company paid Food Handler Certification and Allergen Awareness Certification.

Candidate must possess the following qualities:

• Attention to detail, customer responsiveness, time management, food safety knowledge, adaptability, effective communication skills in person and on telephone.

• Good math skills, multi-tasking skills and good judgement.

• Willingness to maintain a “professional first impression” appearance throughout the shift, positive and helpful persona, well managed short or pulled back hair, short unpainted nails, and well-maintained personal hygiene. 

• Willingness to wash hands frequently and as required for the specific task.

• Willingness to wear (Personal Protective Equipment) PPE for job specific tasks.

• Willingness to follow directions and adapt a clean as you go philosophy.

Work attire:

• (Employee provided) regularly cleaned non-slip shoes/sneakers and casual long or short pants.

• (Employer provided) NYC SUBS shirt, cleaned and maintained by restaurant.

• Apron, hats and job required attire provided, cleaned and maintained by restaurant.

Work hours:

• Afternoon Shift 10am to 4pm

• Evening Shift 4pm to 10pm

Restaurant is open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm.

The restaurant offers a competitive salary plus tips, one meal included per shift, friends and family dining discount.
